Whether it's your first drink of the day or an afternoon pick-me-up, the perfect cup of vanilla chai will bring just the balance of sweet yet spicy deliciousness and mental clarity--now there's a rare combo that can't be beaten.

Ingredients
-
8 fl oz of JOI Almond Milk (Almond Nutbase + Water).
- 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
- A smidge of Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon of Maple Syrup or Honey
- 1 Teabag of Chai Tea
Directions
Make JOI Almond Milk (blend 1 tablespoon of JOI Almond Nutbase with 8 fl oz of water for 30 seconds of med-high).
- Pour JOI Almond Milk into a small saucepan and heat on medium.
- Whisk in Vanilla Extract, sweetener of choice, and a smidge of Sea Salt.
- Once heated through (do not boil!), take off the heat and add the Chai Tea bag.
- Steep for 5 minutes, remove the tea bag and enJOI hot or over ice!
- Optional - Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top for fun.
